2007 Gibson Les Paul 57 Custom Shop Historic Reissue R7 (SOLD)

SOLD
My collector friend owned this since new and it’s in ABSOLUTE MINT condition. Unbelievable condition for a 10 years old guitar. If you’re looking for a classic American guitar it’s hard to beat an R7 Goldtop. With its Plek’d neck, setup is impeccable. It’s not possible to setup a guitar with better action and intonation. It really plays like butter and the sustain is just unbelievable. I’ve had hundreds of Les Pauls but these old R7 “full fat” models have the longest sustain of all.
Like most historics, this one has the VOS treatment. Not quite a relic, Gibson’s VOS process produces the slightly dull patina of a vintage guitar with a thin nitrocellulose finish and the nickel hardware is also dulled as you would expect on an original example.

Everything is heavy, fat and one piece on it 🙂 ONE PIECE mahogany body (Standard and Traditional models have 2 pieces mahogony body…lot of glue for the centre join), one piece AMAZING rosewood fretboard, one piece nice and chunky mahogany neck, bumble bee capacitors, Burstbucker pickups. It is all traditional and has an incredible feel and sound! The result of these is the warmest, greasiest, fattest LP sound I’ve ever heard!

The guitar comes with its original black Gibson Custom Shop case and of course it’s Certificate of Authenticity and hang tags. Have a look at the pictures.

These early NASHVILLE Custom Shop built LPs hold their value the most, so this is a fantastic investment too, especially this MINT condition, beautiful example!
With a new one selling for £3500+++, why not save £1000+ on this great, collectible example and buy this for £2200. SOLD
