2008 Gibson Custom Shop ES-137C (SOLD)

SOLD
Here’s an amazing, classy real archtop loaded with features both cosmetic and functional to give you a guitar that can do way more than just Jazz and Blues: an absolute NEW CONDITION 2008 Gibson Custom Shop ES-137 with a beautiful Heritage Cherry Sunburst finish on a curly maple body! This is a real time capsule: it was built in 2008 by Gibson Custom Shop (certificate included) and it’s NEVER been used. It still has the protector on the scratch plate(it’s a black colour scratch plate but has that white cover on it ) and there is NOT A MARK on it at all. It’s a very collectible, museum quality piece!

Features on the ES-137 also include a mahogany center block, 3-ply maple neck with a rosewood fretboard, 24-3/4″ scale length, 1-11/16″ nut width, 22 frets, a tune-o-matic bridge, Grover tuners, and chrome hardware.

The pick ups on this guitar allow you to dial in a thick Rock rhythm tone through an overdriven amp (as you can hear from Kings of Leon for example, this model can be heard on all their famous tracks), but also allow for a nice and gritty clean if you roll the volume knobs back. The curly maple has a ton of fine detail in it, and the light colors of the sunburst finish don’t allow any of the figuring to hide.

I think it’s a great jazz/blues/rock guitar! Have a listen to my demo!

Includes the original Gibson hardshell case (it’s got a few tiny marks), Custom Shop certificate and inspection sheet…

It’s an all original, Gibson Custom Shop built semi-hollow in NEW condition with its case candy, and a great investment at £1400!SOLD
