2008 Taylor 416ce LTD Spring Limited Edition (SOLD)

SOLD
I love Taylor guitars! You just pick the guitar up and feel the amazing quality, attention to details, nice sound and sophisticated wood selection. This baby is from the Spring 2008 Limited Edition Series. She is a grand symphony sized with cutaway, sitka spruce top, Tasmanian Blackwood back and sides, ebony fingerboard and bridge, cream binding, abalone rosette, mother-of-pearl diamond inlays, 1-3/4″ nut width, 25-1/2″ scale length, chrome hardware, Taylor Expression System pickup, and a built like a tank Taylor hardshell case.
The whole package is stunning.

I adore blackwood. The guitar is very warm, great bass, meaty midrange and great top end. The spruce top responds so well with light playing. I have read that the blackwood brings a maple-ish sound quality to the top end. I agree. So in summary, you get a fantastic meaty mid range, maple-ish top end and a low end. Add in the warmth and responsiveness of spruce and you have a stellar finger style and light to medium strumming guitar.
Tasmanian Blackwood is very similar to Hawaiian Koa, in both looks and sound. Blackwood takes the essential tones of koa and blends it nicely with the woodiness of mahogany and the bright bloom of rosewood. Adding the Spruce top makes the guitar have a very natural and woody tone with lots of warm low end that make it a wonderful instrument for both fingerpickers and light-to-medium strummers.

The built in Taylor expression system is probably the best sounding built in acoustic guitar pickup and amplifier system on the market! It sounds amazing!

This guitar is in excellent condition, there is no marks on the back and sides, but there are few little marks on the top, have a look at the pictures! These are extra small ones, absolutely not noticeable.

A brand new, normal (not the limited edition) 416ce would cost you £1600+++ you can have this beautiful, very rare, limited edition model, made of exotic woods for £1350. SOLD
