2013 Fender American Vintage ’65 Reissue Stratocaster (SOLD)

SOLD
Look at this latest, most recent model of the American Vintage ’65 Stratocaster.

The whole American Vintage Reissue Series were re-designed a few years ago. These guitars now seriously close to the original vintage guitars! Even Eric Johnson was amazed when he compared his original 1957 Fender Strat to the American Vintage Reissue version of that. It’s very hard to tell the difference! Even the most critical forums (sic!) are full with positive feedbacks about these.

So yes this guitar has got some amazing new features! My favourite new feature is the extra thin “flash coat” lacquer as Fender calls this new nitro lacquer! This finish is something special, it really let the wood breath and the whole instrument is resonating like hell. I always test the guitars acoustically first without plugging them to the amp and I can feel the resonation through this guitar’s body even when I just strum the B string. So it’s a really well built instrument, made of great timber. The pickups are the most period correct ones that Fender ever built. They sound great. Nothing bad I can say about this guitar really.

It’s in MINT condition, a very well looked after guitar and comes with its original great looking hard-case (mint condition) and ALL CASE CANDY (actually it comes with a TONS of little gadgets and prints)!

With a new one running £1400 and most ex-display models are going around £1300 how about this one in MINT condition and with a great setup for just £1200?
