One piece premium quality mahogany body, hide glued maple top on it, one piece premium quality mahonany neck, very dark Indian rosewood fretboard…newer Custom Bucker pickups…and the upgraded Goldtop finish… a bit thinner for more resonance and a bit greener for a fantastic look! Goldtop’s are great as the plain colour emphasises the amazing shape and the little details such as the binding, pickup covers and the nicely carved top! A crazily flamed top don’t let you focus on these little details but this Goldtop finish does! The whole guitar looks bigger as well!
So it’s a beauty and a beast! It’s so easy to play with it’s ultra low action and perfectly done fretwork, fretboard edges etc…it’s seriously a top of the range guitar. Absolute Custom Shop quality and these latest models are amazing. Very accurate with the True Historic plastics and hot hide glue etc…I bet you know all of these!
This is in NEAR MINT condition, it has a little mark on the back that you can see on one of the pictures! Hence the price! That little mark can save you a serious amount of £££…
This guitar is a very nice example, very clean (apart from that mark) and a really nice buy at £2600. It is in my opinion this guitar is impossible to beat for the money! Don’t mix this with the earlier Goldtops…these latest models have some amazing upgrades. SOLD
