Fender Deluxe Reverb 65 Reissue (SOLD)

SOLD
This Amp is billed by Fender as “The Club Master…For Rock, Country or Blues players that want a lower Wattage amp they can turn all the way up, and dig down deep into the power amp”.
I must confess that I am a fan of Blackface era Fender amps. I love the look as well as the tone. The carefully reproduced cosmetics of this amp are astonishing.
Looking at this amp it is easy to imagine that you’ve taken a trip back in time. This is what the original amps looked like back in 1965.
The tone the amp produces is simply wonderful. The clean sound doesn’t colour the tone of the guitar, it allows the guitar to speak in it’s own unique voice.
It’s in wonderful condition, ABSOLUTE MINT. It’s got a new set of valves and the sound is just second to none. Very punchy, very articulate. Tons of low end and presence. This has a very clever and very popular modification: the bright cap on both channels have been replaced with a bright switch! The bright cap made this amp sounding bad with pedals on low volume. It’s just makes it too bright, with the switch you can choose the right amount of brightness like on the Twin and Super Reverbs. So in bedroom level the amp takes pedals amazingly!

I highly recommend this amp to anyone looking to capture that magic Fender Blackface tone.

These 65 Deluxe Reverb Reissues carried a retail price of £1300++, but this one is MINT, sounds amazing with a new set of valves and a killer deal for just £750. It comes with its foot switch (for the tremolo) and a little trolley. SOLD
