Mesa Boogie Electra Dyne (SOLD)

SOLD
Here is another high end, boutique Mesa Boogie guitar amp! It’s called the Electra Dyne and it’s a very interesting amp. What a piece of art this amp is. They simplified the controls the down to the minimal and somehow they achieved that all 3 modes are in balance volume wise.

The clean is very much like the best Fender Black Face clean. It has a huge headroom. I mean really a huge clean headroom and my god the punch is killer. It’s extremely punchy! The second mode is like a very very good Marshall Plexi. A kind of Ac/Dc style crunch, but you can dial very nice light blues crunch as well. The third mode is either a Hot Rodded Plexi or a Mark I style singing lead tone. All of these are easily achievable and you can set them in balance with a little “gain and volume trim” button on the back! I’ve never seen anything like this before. It’s a very clever design! I pay you a beer or two if you can dial any bad sound of it. Check the demo video below!

And here is the most important feature and I never seen this to be mentioned anywhere! The MASTER volume acts like it hasn’t got a MASTER volume: IT DOESN’T EAT THE DYNAMICS OR PUNCHINESS AT ALL! I’ve got a Mesa Boogie Lonestar and a Mark V here in my studio and both amps are HALF AS PUNCHY AND DYNAMIC than this! The master volume circuit design is the best what I’ve ever experienced and I’ve had many many valve amps. This is a very important feature in a live band situation…

The amp is in MINT condition! Literally, not a mark on it (not even on the foot switch), it works like clockwork. All valves are spotless. It comes with a manual, and a soft cover.

RRP is £1945 at PMT!! But why not have this MINT head for £1200?SOLD
