This beauty is an ALL ORIGINAL 1977 Gibson Les Paul Custom! From the good part of the “Norlin era” when they build proper solid body Les Paul Customs (the earlier models that had the so called “sandwich body”). This is very nice and it’s in all original condition with original hard case and CANDY!! Look at those lovely hang tags etc…it’s also an ex-celebrity owned guitar! The previous owner is Roger from “Brotherhood of Man” who was kind enough to let me video record him as he handed over the guitar to me and shared some great stories about this instrument. He also confirmed that everything is intact, all original and this is the guitar he was playing in Top of the pops on BBC many times (videos on Youtube) and travelled / toured with this guitar all around the world! So the marks on the guitar are by PROPER AGEING AND PLAYING instead of fake Murphy lab ageing…

The frets are original and about 97% of their life is back so nothing to worry about.

As I said in my long review video this guitar PLAYS THE BEST that I’ve ever experienced. The luthiers at the Gibson Nashville factory did an absolute crazy good job levelling the frets and making sure the neck angle is perfect so the guitar really does play like butter (without a computerised PLEK’ treatment)…absolutely crazy good action without any string buzz…

And the sound is WARM AND LONG!!! The guitar sustains for ages and produces the typical ultra warm Les Paul Custom sound (ebony + solid piece mahogany)! Hope you can hear on my video!

This is a piece of music history, a very good investment with guaranteed significant value increase! (Try to find another ex-celebrity owned one in all original condition with original hard case and candy)
