2006 PRS McCarty 10 Top

You can’t go wrong with this 20 years old, high spec PRS McCarty 10 Top guitar…as I called it in the video it’s the WARMEST sounding electric guitar I’ve ever experienced. There’s some kind of magic in the construction of PRS McCarty models…some kind of clever engineering…

It’s a completely different beast than a Custom 24…the body is much thicker the neck is wider and more wood all around…long neck tennon join (maybe here is the “magic”) so the neck ends up below the neck pickup…thick fretboard, one piece bridge (less top end frequencies but much more low end)…absolultely PERFECT fretwork and fretboard edges. I’ve recorded 5 guitar demos today (check them on my Youtube channel) and this one is from a different planet quality wise…

It’s quite a HIGH SPEC McCarty model as most of these came with dot inlays, plain top etc…but this has bird inlays and a very beautiful 10 top…even the fretboard is I reckon at least AAAAA graded rosewood as it’s as dark and grainy every other company would use it on their Custom Shop guitars…

Everytime I demo a PRS guitar I admire its tuning stability and accuracy….this was BORN in tune…seriously it was engineered to be in tune and stay in tune…

It’s in MINT / NEVER PLAYED (zero fret wear) condition (apart from one tiny mark at the low E string’s tuning peg on the headstock)…check the photos / video the guitar is free of any dings, dents or buckle rash…apart that one mark it’s MINT. You won’t find a better 20 years old example.
